The classification Reserve indicates a slower ageing as a result of special fruit from a special year. In 2013 with the potential of outstanding grapes a selected parcel of ripe grapes was harvested, fermented in open fermenters and stored for 2 years in new and 1 year old French and American oak hogsheads. The result is a wine with cinnamon and nutmeg undertones, vibrant fruit cake bouquet and a sustained spice palate. This wine will continue to improve for many years, at least until mid 2020’s. (Alcohol 15.0%)
